An Ansonia woman was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after getting into an accident on Feb. 5. According to Woodbridge police, Tracy Starbora, 51, of Ansonia, was driving on Racebrook Road when she hit a telephone pole. She failed a sobriety test and was arrested. Starbora was also charged with failure to drive in the proper lane and operating a car without a license. She was released on $50 bail and is scheduled to appear in Superior Court in New Haven on Feb. 21.

A man from Bozrah turned himself in for allegedly passing a bad check in Woodbridge last month. According to police, Patrick O’Neil, 66, was charged with issuing a bad check and third-degree larceny. He posted bail of $2,500 and is scheduled to appear in Superior Court in New Haven on Feb. 21.
