Christ Church Offers Healing Mass this Sunday
Religious affiliation not needed - all are welcome.
Healing will be the theme of the innovative 5:00 p.m.“Come As You Are” service at Christ Episcopal Church, 526 Amity Rd., Bethany, on Feb. 5. All are warmly invited to attend, regardless of religious affiliation or background.
The service will have Michele and Rick Kinrade as guests. They have extensive experience in healing ministries as speakers and teachers, as well as in praying.
An opportunity to receive healing prayer for oneself or for family members, friends, and other loved ones, will be provided. There will also be an opportunity to participate in praying for others
“Even if we are not ill ourselves, most of us still can use God’s healing presence, strength, courage, love, and peace to live our lives in joy. And we know others in need of these blessings to conquer difficult struggles and meet the challenges of life,” declares the Rev. Dr. E. Bevan Stanley, interim minister at Christ Church.
Every Sunday the highly creative, non-traditional 5:00 p.m. service features a theme which runs throughout the service, including stirring and uplifting contemporary music selections. Dress is casual, so come as you are. If you are unable to attend the healing service, you are graciously invited to attend at 5:00 any week. You will always be warmly received by a very welcoming congregation which is part of the Christ Church family.
