Original Story:

Woodbridge residents wondering whether tonight's Halloween plans are off or on may have to wait a little longer. According to police, town officials will meet Wednesday morning to decide whether to move ahead with Halloween trick-or-treating.

Meanwhile, emergency officials in Bethany say it's probably not a good idea to go out while restoration crews are still working.

"Word has it that we're not encouraging trick-or-treating because there are wires on the road," said one official at Bethany's Emergency Control Center. There is no word yet on rescheduling, but Bethwood Patch will update the story when additional details are available.

The decision is comparable to those in other towns. Orange has rescheduled its official trick-or-treating night, and Oxford has done the same. ()
