Man Drops Girlfriend at Police Station Following Dispute

Woodbridge police say the woman, who was arrested, hit the man while he was driving.

 

A 44-year-old West Haven woman reportedly struck her boyfriend while he was driving so he dropped her off at the police station to be arrested, according to a report released this week from the Woodbridge Police Department.

The alleged incident took place at 9:36 p.m. on Feb. 14 — Valentine's Day — police said. The woman, who police identified as Renee St. Onge, reportedly struck the man in the face while traveling in his vehicle.

After he brought her to police headquarters, St. Onge was charged with:

  • Third-degree assault
  • disorderly conduct

She was released after posting bond and was scheduled to appear in New Haven Superior Court on Feb. 15, police said.
