Do you like staying up-to-date on the news in Bethany and Woodbridge? Make sure you don't miss a thing by signing up for the Patch daily newsletter, weekly newsletter, Patch Deals and/or breaking news alerts.

The daily newsletter shows off the top headlines of the day under News, Opinion, Community Bulletin and Things to Do. The weekly newsletter gives you the Top Spot, which is the week's most-read story, along with the most read stories in opinion and sports, as well as highlights from the Community Bulletin and Things to Do.

If you already have an account, just sign in, hover over your name in the upper right-hand corner and click 'Alerts.' On the alert page, check the box that says 'I'd like to receive emails from Patch.'

From there, you'll have the option of receiving the daily newsletter, the weekly newsletter, Patch Deals and breaking news alerts. You can also enter your cell phone number if you'd like to receive breaking news alerts via text message. 

Though it's very easy to create an account, you can also sign up to receive the newsletters without an account. Simply click 'Patch Newsletter' at the top of the page and enter your email address. Once you've done that, you can share the newsletter sign-up with friends through Facebook, Twitter and email by clicking the corresponding button.
