Bike, Bus & Bagel Tour of Historical New Haven Will Start in Woodbridge

The Jewish Community Center (JCC) of Greater New Haven is celebrating a milestone birthday - 100 years!  As part of the centennial celebrations, the JCC is hosting a Bike, Bus & Bagel Tour in conjunction with the Jewish Historical Society of Greater New Haven on Sunday, September 9 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.  Tickets are $36 for the bus tour, and $18 for the bike tour.

The tour will visit Jewish historical landmarks including the Holocaust Memorial, Orchard Street Shul, Joseph Slifka Center for Jewish Life, former JCC sites, take a memory stroll down Legion Avenue, and the Ethnic Heritage Center.  A bagel reception will follow the tour at the JCC.

WHAT:                        Bike, Bus & Bagel Tour hosted by the JCC and Jewish Historical Society

WHEN:                        Sunday, September 9 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

WHERE:           Bus Tour begins at the JCC, 360 Amity Road, Woodbridge, CT

                        Bike Tour begins at the Ethnic Heritage Center, 270 Fitch Street, New Haven, CT

TICKETS:          $36 for the Bus Tour, $18 for the Bike Tour. Purchase online at www.jccnh.org

Can't wait to see the improvements. We've signed up for the kids program for "No MoreRead More Babysitters".

The club added new kiddie pool with new splash feature and sun shades. The club has a new full courtRead More basketball court with adjacent smaller court for younger children. Also added a volleyball court in back field. The club is offering this year a kids program for members. Come and see.
