Davinci Coffee Opens Featuring Imported Gourmet Coffees from Italy

The newly-created Davinci Coffee cafe and retail store opened February 1st at 1627 Meriden Road in Wolcott to serve the discerning tastes of gourmet coffee connoisseurs from throughout New England. “Our distinctive coffee house attracts people from lower Fairfield and Westchester Counties and Connecticut’s Gold Coast to drink and purchase our imported coffees and espressos from Italy,” stated owner Luciana Minnocci. “This space has been created as a haven for coffee connoisseurs to relax and fully enjoy their favorite blends or to purchase the finest in imported gourmet coffees and coffee makers.”

Davinci Coffee offers three of the top five finest coffee rosters imported from Italy, LaVazza, Caffe Vergano, Illy, plus their own specialty Davinci Coffee blend. “Additionally,” stated Minnocci, “we offer some of today’s most popular hot and iced coffees including the increasingly-popular Vietnamese iced coffees. To enhance the experience our gourmet coffee haven, we also offer freshly-baked pastries, muffins and light snacks.”

The enticing menu at Davinci Coffee features espressos, cappuccinos, lattes, mochas, a variety of mighty leaf teas, Chai tea, Macchiato coffee and espresso, Ghirardelli hot chocolate, iced and flavored iced coffees, blended iced coffees, plus sweets and pastries including croissants, Danishes, cake slices, muffins, brownies, cookies and more. “We also sell Caffe LaVazza home-use machines for espresso and single serve cups, unroasted green beans for home rosters, and we are the only U.S. importer of Italian flavored Novaroma flavored sugars and light sweeteners including coco, vanilla, Anisette, hazelnut and cinnamon.” Davinci Coffee also sells and services all LaVazza coffee maker machines, and rents out espresso machines.

An inviting art gallery is another enticing feature of the newly-opened coffee house. The current exhibition features oil paintings, pencil drawings, watercolor paintings and photographs by the talented University of Hartford School of Art student Nicole Molinari. “This spring,” stated Minnocci, “we will launch two hour coffee education seminars devoted to all types of coffees from around the world. We will also create relaxing outdoor café-style seating.”
