Opie’s World is a program to promote outdoor recreation and an appreciation of nature. There will be lots of activities for children and families. Activities will include fishing, making rainsticks, Ansonia Nature Center, CT DEEP Wildlife Conservation, leaf rubbings, and scavenger hunts.
This event is FREE and open to the public.
The event is held at the Maltby Lakes Recreation Area on Route 34 along the West Haven/Orange Line.
