Flash Flooding Possible Into Saturday

It's raining, but for how long and how much will we get?

The National Weather Service is forecasting a minimum of 3 to 5 inches of rain to fall in Bethany and Woodbridge over the next couple days.

The heaviest rain is expected Friday afternoon into early Saturday, the service warns. Maximum hourly rates could exceed 2 inches.

Urban and poor drainage areas will be particularly vulnerable to flash flooding, according to the service.
