Today, Bernard Feldman turns 105.
The Woodbridge resident plans on celebrating by going out to lunch in nearby Branford with friends and then taking a ride on the Thimble Islands ferry.
Feldman is a World War II veteran who today spends a great deal of time on the computer, Skyping with his daughter in Italy and watching opera on YouTube.
“The technology today is amazing," he says. If you told me that I could see and talk to my daughter in Italy years ago, I wouldn’t have believed it!”
He also attends and participates in exercise classes about five days a week.
As for his advice to others hoping to enjoy happiness and longevity, “Just keep going!”
