Post Traumatic Stress Workshop for those Affected by Sun Gold Barn Collapse

Peter Stebinger, Rector of Christ Episcopal Church in Bethany, will be offering a one hour workshop on post-traumatic stress reactions for members of the Bethany horse community tomorrow (Thursday February 10) at Bethany Town Hall downstairs community room at 7:30 p.m. At this workshop he will talk about the particular nature of stress as it relates to a major event such as last week's barn collapse and subsequent horse rescue.

He will also discuss normal and abnormal stress reactions and ways to best manage the after effects of such an event. This workshop is open and free to all members of the Bethany horse community as well as to anyone who was present and helping at the barn collapse on Hunter's Trail last week. Particularly encouraged to attend is anyone who horse was stabled at the barn, family members and friends and veterinarians and other professionals who were directly involved.
