Bethany: BVFD Pancake Bunny Breakfast

Where: Bethany Fire Dept. Headquarters, 765 Amity Road

When: Sunday, March 10, 8 a.m.

Cost: $10

Description: The cost for the breakfast is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Children younger than age 3 attend for free. Breakfast includes pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, coffee, tea and juice. One photograph with the Easter Bunny is included per family.

Woodbridge: Massaro Community Farm Meeting

Where: 5 Meetinghouse Lane

When: Sunday, March 10, 1:30 p.m.

Cost: Free

Description: If you're curious about the farm, this is your chance to speak to board members and staff one-on-one and ask questions about farming, land stewardship and events at the farm.

Woodbridge: CT Roller Girl Derby

Where: Connecticut Sports Center, 21 South Bradley Road, Woodbridge

When: Saturday, March 9, 5 p.m.

Cost: $10 in advance; $15 at the door

Description: Billed as New Haven's hardest hitters, the CT Roller Girl Derby is hosting a double-header this weekend. The match-ups: Stepford Sabotage vs. Hudson Valley Horrors and Yankee Brutals vs. Hudson Valley zomBsquad.

Orange: A Taste Of Greece

Where: St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church, 480 Racebrook Road

When: Saturday, March 9, 11 a.m.

Cost: Free to attend, meals available for purchase

Description: A Taste of Greece features a feast of classic Greek cuisine: Avgolemeno Soup (egg lemon), Greek Salad, Spanakopita (spinach pie), Tiropita (cheese pie), Gyro, Pork Souvlaki, Lamb dinner, Pastitisio (Greek style lasagna), Greek style roasted chicken and assorted pastries.

Orange: Multiple Perpectives on Holiness

Where: Temple Emanuel of Greater New Haven, 150 Derby Ave.

When: Sunday, March 10, 4 p.m.

Description: Members of the Orange clergy will present a panel discussion entitled Multiple Perspectives on Holiness.

Shelton: BaGua & XingYi

Description: BaGua (PaKua) is a Chinese art of moving meditation and self-defense based on the Book of Changes.

Shelton: Scholastic Book Fair

Description: Come and join the Susanna Wesley Nursery School for the Scholastic Book Fair, which is open to the public for one day only. Browse the book fair and find inexpensive titles for the whole family.

Oxford: Peachwave Grand Opening

Where: Peachwave in the Great Hill Plaza

Cost: Depends on what you get! 

Description: The self-service forzen yogurt model lets customers choose from more than a dozen flavors of frozen yogurt, mixing them as they please, and paying by the weight rather than the size of the cup.

Naugatuck: St. Patrick's Day 5K

Where: Old Corner Cafe Naugatuck

When: 5K Starts at 9 a.m., same day registration begins at 7:30 a.m.

Cost: $25 to run, $30 on race day

Description: The race, which benefits the Naugatuck Education Foundation by providing grants for borough public school teachers, will be held this coming Saturday, March 9. The race begins and ends at the Old Corner Café, 178 North Main St.

Trumbull: The Handmade Happening

Where: Long Hill United Methodist Church, 6358 Main St., Trumbull

When: Saturday, March 9, 2013, 10 a.m.

Cost: Free

Description: The Long Hill United Methodist Children's Center is hosting local Moms and Dads who have at-home businesses and wish to sell their own unique creations at our first Craft Fair! Free admission and many great raffles from our fabulous vendors. Please come and support our local families.

Milford: Argentine Guitarist Ricardo Moyano Performs

Where: Milford Fine Arts Council Inc, 40 Railroad Ave., Milford

Description: The Milford Fine Arts Council welcomes Ricardo Moyano to the stage at Milford Center for the Arts on Saturday, March 9 at 8 p.m. A multi-faceted Argentine guitarist, he is a master of Argentine folk music as well as folk traditions of the world including Turkey, Costa Rica, Colombia, Basque and more.

Fairfield: Jennifer Butler 2013 Spring Fashion Show

Description: The Bethel Spring Series returns to the Francis J Clarke Circle  for seven Sundays in March and April 2013, held under the auspices of USA Cycling, the national cycling federation.

Norwalk: Spring Flower and Design Competition

New Canaan: The Fox and the Fairway

The show gives a laugh-out-loud look into marriage, brotherly love, and the slow-paced kind of lifestyle that existed in a small West Texas town during that time.

Woodbury: Pack 54 Business Challenge Cup

Description: The 18th Annual Pack 54 Business Challenge Cup is an opportunity to meet fellow business people, trade laughs, and racing tips and show support for the scouting program.

Woodbury: Pop Warner Pancake Breakfast

Cost: $7 for adults, $5 for children and kids younger than 3 attend at no cost

Description: The Pop Warner Nonnewaug Chiefs Football and Cheer are hosting a pancake breakfast fundraiser. The event is open to the public. Pancakes, sausage/bacon, coffee/tea/juice will be served and there will also be assorted baked goods for sale at the event.

Greenwich: St. Catherine's Players Present 'Sound of Music'

Where: St. Catherine of Siena Church, 4 Riverside Ave.

Description: St. Catherine’s Players will present “The Sound of Music” on Fridays and Saturdays, March 8th, 9th, 15th, and 16th at 8 p.m.  and Sundays,  March 10th and 17th at 2 p.m. in the  St. Catherine of Siena Parish Hall. Ridgefield: The Berenstain Bears Live

West Redding: Meditation

Description: The Redding Center for Mindfulness and Meditation teaches and practices Mahasati Meditation, a form of Vipassana or Insight Meditation.

Wilton: Seussical Jr. the Musical

Description: Sabrina's Encore Productions from Newtown brings Seussical Jr. to the Wilton Playshop. Performed by students in grades 4-6, this is a family friendly musical excursion through the stories of Dr. Seuss. Children will be happy to meet the Cat in the Hat, who introduces familiar characters such as Horton hears a Who through a musical story. Many of the performers were recently heard singing Somewhere Over the Rainbow with Ingrid Michaelson as a benefit for Sandy Hook.

Darien: Special Showing of 'Girl Rising' film at Darien Playhouse
