The annual RiverFest and Duck Race In historic Beacon Falls at Volunteer Park by the Beacon Hose no 1 Fire Company.

Watch the Ducks flow  and race down the Nuagatuck River at 400 pm.  You can buy your favorite duck for only $5.00 and  first Duck  wins $!000.00.  Second Duck wins an Ipad and  the next five Ducks win gift cards to local merchants plus a Kindle reader.

Take the Lioness Duck Waddle aznd fill your jar with delicious homemade cookies from the talented  local bakers  of the LIONESSES.

Breakfast served by the Seniors at the  side door to the Senior Center.

Beacon Hose Fire Company No 1 kicks off Safety Week with fire fighting demos and  a rip roaring Jaws of Life demonstration. Don't missi it.
