DECEMBER ART EXHIBIT OPENING RECEPTION AT WOODBRIDGE LIBRARY

The public is invited to attend an opening reception at the Woodbridge Town Library in coordination with our December Art Exhibit.  The reception will be held in the Meeting Room of the Library on Saturday, December 11, 2010 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, and will be hosted by the artist of the month, Patty Meglio.

The Woodbridge Library is proud to present the art of Patty Meglio, a former resident of Woodbridge, CT and graduate of Amity Regional High School, during the month of December. Patty specializes in New England landscapes, seascapes, and still life in oil. In pursuit of a lifelong dream, she began studying painting with local artists, including Marc Antony Massaro in Branford, Terry Oakes-Bourret in Durham and Hagop Keledjian in Putney, Vermont. She is a past participant in juried competitions for the Clinton Art Society, Madison Art Society, Artwalk for the West Hartford Art League, and the Mavis Fenner Memorial for the Rowayton Arts Center, and is a winner of the Merchant's Prize at the Madison Art Show in 2007. She has exhibited in numerous venues throughout the state of Connecticut and New Hampshire. Her work is held in private collections throughout the country. She is a member of the Connecticut Plein Air Painter Society, Milford Fine Arts Council, Clinton Art Association, and the Madison Art Society.
