Grab & Go Kids Planner

Patch has some things for you to do with the kids this weekend.

1.  Family Bird Walk

  •  Saturday 8:30 a.m. – 10 a.m.
  • sponsors a free walk for families that focuses on the birds and wildlife found in East Rock Park.
  • Walk begins at the covered bridge by the parking lot next to the Museum.  Bring binoculars, and wear warm clothes and boots.

2.  Climb a Wall

  • Saturday 10 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.
  • Check out Family Open Climbing with the gym staff at in New Haven.  There are activities for all ages and skill levels.
  • Each session is $20 per participant or get a 10 visit punch pass for only $180. Pre-registration is recommended.

3.  Go Ice Skating

  • Weather permitting go skating at .  8am until dusk with skating under the lights from 4p-9p.  Free.

4. 

  • Saturday 11:30 a.m. – noon
  • Age appropriate stories and crafts for preschoolers ages 3-5. No registration is needed.

5.  Visit Dinosaurs

  • Saturday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Sunday noon – 5 p.m.
  • A fun (and educational) family outing awaits at the .  Learn about dinosaurs, fossils, native cultures, the solar system and more. $9 adults/$5 kids

The club added new kiddie pool with new splash feature and sun shades. The club has a new full courtRead More basketball court with adjacent smaller court for younger children. Also added a volleyball court in back field. The club is offering this year a kids program for members. Come and see.
