Verizon Activates New Cellular Service System in Bethany, Prospect
The company promises the new equipment will speed up use of smartphones and other wireless devices.

According to an article on the Wall Street Journal MarketWatch web site, Verizon this week announced it activated new 4G LTE coverage in the vicinity of Routes 42, 63 and 69 in Bethany and Prospect.
Within that service area, Verizon said its customers with 4G LTE-enabled devices will be able to post social networking status updates and photos, surf the web, share music and download files up to 10 times faster than with older 3G service.
