Connecticut vendors Hartford Denim and The SNO Company Among Local Businesses Helping Connecticut and New England Schools Raise Money

Connecticut vendors are partnering with Close Buy Catalog to help PTOs, PTAs and students in Connecticut and throughout New England raise money for their schools.  Here’s a sampling of some of the Connecticut companies Close Buy is working with this year for their 5th annual local goods fall fundraising catalog.

The SNO Company, based in Newtown, creates safe, natural and organic alternatives to most popular and toxic cleaning products.  SNO products – (which stand for Safe Natural Organics) – have been popular Close Buy Catalog items for several years.

Hartford is home to Hartford Denim Company, a small manufacturer of denim and leather goods specializing in raw, salvaged denim jeans.  In business since 2010, Hartford Denim produces all of their products in their Hartford workshop.

Dave Marcoux, one of three friends who created the business, is happy to have their denim tote bags and opera clutch featured in the upcoming Close Buy Catalog.  Says Marcoux, “We're really happy to participate in the Close Buy Catalog this year.  It's giving us a chance to help schools in Connecticut and throughout New England.  And we love the concept of a catalog of curated local products helping kids raise money for their schools.”

Close Buy is still accepting schools for 2014.  Visit closebuycatalog.com to sign up.
