Amity Music Program Wins $10,000 in Pepsi Competition
Music in Motion submission voted most creative
The Amity Music Department has been awarded $10,000.00 from Pepsi Company after entering a Music in Motion production concept into a competition called Refreshing Ideas.
The Music in Motion entry was posted on the Pepsi Company website and visitors to the website were encouraged to vote on the most creative idea. Naturally, Amity received the most votes!
The award will be used to help make this year’s production of Music in Motion more spectacular than ever. Show dates for Music in Motion are October 28th and 29th at 7:30 pm in the Amity High School auditorium. Tickets are $10 and may be purchased at the door, online at www.amityband.org or by calling the Amity High School Box Office at (203) 392-2019.

Amity's submission and more information about the competition are available at: http://www.refresheverything.com/amitymusic. Pepsi awards up to 15 mid-sized organizations such as Amity's music department with $10,000 grants each month.
