Family Hoping for Safe Return of Stolen Dog

A Facebook page called Bring Bella Home hopes to return the 7-year-old yellow lab to her family.

A Stratford family is still holding onto hope that their 7-year-old yellow lab "Bella" will come home safe. The Facebook page Bring Bella Home intends to help do just that.

It has now been one week since Bella was reported stolen from a car in the parking lot of a Home Depot in Derby. The family, which recently moved to Stratford from Woodbridge, has offered a "no questions asked" $500 reward for the return of their dog, which they say has medical issues and needs medication.

"Today will be a week that she has gone without her medication," a Monday morning post on the Facebook page reads. "My father has viewed 7 hours of video footage in the Home Depot parking lot, flyers were placed on all of the poles in the Home Depot area, as well as in Stratford where we believe she may have been seen.
