Hello, Good-bye

Animal Control Officer finds friend in odd place

After a little over three months as Woodbridge Animal Control's guest and repeated appearances here on Patch, Sarah has found a home. She is one of the nicest dogs you'd ever want to meet but she has the Pit Bull stigmatism. She's attentive and friendly to anyone who approached her, and lucky for Sarah, a family intelligent enough to see her for what she is finally came and took her home.

Woodbridge Animal Control Officer Paul Niedmann had grown to love Sarah in her three months at the shelter, but he gave her up to the new family.

Now, Woodbridge Animal Control is looking for a very special family for a very special cat. TC is a neutered male, two-year-old Maine Coon cat with  brown, grey and white coat with green eyes. He is a big boy, but a bit timid and takes a while to warm up to humans, especially strangers. Once comfortable, he is curious, playful and enjoys exploring, just like a big kitten.

TC needs a patient, cat-experienced family to gain his trust. A quiet home would help make him comfortable and increase his confidence. He is a blue diamond awaiting his chance to sparkle.

TC is available for adoption at the District Animal Control in Woodbridge. The shelter is located at 135 Bradley Road and can be reached by phone at 203 389-5991. Or visit online at http://www.petfinder.com/pet-search?shelter_id=CT118.
