How 'The Amity Road Horror' Scared You This Season

A look at the horror show's macabre first run -- and there's still time to go!

It's easy to remember the address for the Amity Road Horror. It's on Amity Road, obviously, #667 -- the Neighbor of the Beast.

The Halloween performance's 2012 season is coming to a close, with the last performance tonight (7 p.m. to 11 p.m.), so here's your chance to look back -- share your hair-raising experiences from the Bethany attraction!

So, basically since the age of 10 (on and off) I along with my friends, started making 'haunted houses' out of our parent's garage/basement," says founder Eric Soltis. "Every year we became bigger and scarier, always trying to do better."

In the past, Soltis has done light shows patrons can see from their cars, but this year they took their place on two acres of woods his girlfriend Rebekkah's grandfather owned.

Soltis says he has a lot of people to thank for the frightfest's successful first season at their new location, so we'll let him speak for himself:

"First, is my brother (been there from day one!) Kurt Soltis...Next, is the hardest working guy I know, and definetely a HUGE part of the build, Jason Plante ... Also, another big help was Jeff Becker and Greg Libby ... Those were the 'core' guys ... But these last two definetely did a lot of work as well! Mark Pedro and Kyle Durschmidt."

With Halloween just around the corner, now's your last chance to check out the event -- with its lights, costumes and sounds designed to scare. Check out their website for more details.

"At the end of the day, we all put our hearts, souls, patience, money, winter, spring and summer into this thing," writes Soltis. "We just wanna scare the crap out of as many people as we can, and offer the greatest possible 'show' to our guests! We want to be around for years to come, and only get bigger and better!"
