Patch Picks: Staycation, anyone?

If you can't take more than a day or two away, here's a few local spots to keep the entire family entertained

Not everyone is able to take the entire week of April Vacation and sun on the beaches of Jamaica. For the rest of us, there’s still plenty to do right here, and Connecticut is loaded with stay-cation opportunities, some just minutes away, and others no more than an hour’s drive. Here are some of our tried-and-true favorites . . .

  1. Mystic Seaport, Mystic, CT

You can fill at least two days with everything there is to do in Mystic, and if you add the aquarium, even better! Check the websites for special events.
