Police: Woman Jumps Out Window to Escape Alleged Domestic Abuse

According to reports, a Woodbridge woman ran down the street, and her boyfriend fled the scene, after an alleged domestic assault.

According to reports from the Woodbridge Police Department, witnesses say a woman leapt through a window and ran down the street to escape domestic abuse on Lucy Street in Woodbridge Saturday night.

A resident told police they heard the sound of breaking glass and saw a woman jump out a window and run down the street calling for help, say reports. When police found her, she allegedly told them she had been choked and assaulted by her live-in boyfriend, Paul Price III, 29, of Woodbridge.

Police say when they came looking for Price the next morning, he allegedly tried to flee the scene, but was caught later at Amity Shopping Center and arrested.

Price was charged with Unlawful Restraint, Strangulation, Assault, Interfering with Police and Disorderly Conduct. He was held at police headquarters on $100,000 bond.
