Regional Drug Addiction Clinic Would Serve Bethany, Woodbridge

Not only is narcotics possession illegal, but and other crimes, and it is on the rise, according to the Regional Network of Programs (RNP).

An article by the New Haven Register reported that RNP plans to open a new clinic for treating drug addiction in Ansonia that will serve residents of , , Ansonia, Beacon Falls, Derby, Naugatuck, Oxford, Seymour and Shelton.

An RNP official told the Register the clinic would provide detox, in-patient and out-patient services and mental health counseling. It is scheduled to open in September.
