Senior Center Lunch Each Tuesday and Friday is More Than Just a Meal

Afternoon gatherings provide a nice opportunity to get together with friends

If you're a senior and you're looking for a place to meet new friends and enjoy a nice lunch, the Woodbridge Senior Center at 11 Meetinghouse Lane has a lunch program every Tuesday and Friday at 12:30 p.m.

Lunches are prepared by Chef Elaine Marcucio, who attended Johnson and Whales Culinary School and was the owner of Cup ‘n Saucer for ten years before she began a cooking and cleaning service for seniors called “Chores and More.”  The kitchen assistant is Trish DiBuduo, a resident of Woodbridge who was honored as Outstanding Volunteer for the Senior Center in 2010.

The Senior Center offers various programs after lunch such as entertainers, speakers on health benefits, Wii Bowling, and bingo.
