Summer Camps

Start planning for summer camp now

It's hard to believe it's time to start planning for summertime, but it'll be here before we know it. Patch has rounded up a list of camp programs available for kids of all ages in the Amity towns.

Though details aren't available yet, both Bethany and Orange Parks and Recreation Departments run a summer camp program for children of various ages. For older kids, Orange holds a Traveling Teens program with day trips to fun spots and events throughout the state.

Amity Youth Sports Camps are designed to provide children with the basic skills and fundamentals necessary to become proficient in boys baseball, girls basketball or girls softball. Emphasis on sportsmanship and fair play, as well as an understanding of rules, scoring and various situations associated with the game will be taught.  Two week-long sessions are held from July 11-15 and from July 18-22.
