Woodbridge Comes Together for Last-Minute Halloween Fest

Who had the best costume at Woodbridge's Trunk-or-Treat last night?

On Tuesday night, it would have been hard to believe something like this could come together so quickly. But it happened.

In the midst of Tropical Storm Sandy reparations, with over 50% of Woodbridge lacking power throughout most of Wednesday, town officials and volunteer firefighters organized a virtually impromptu trunk-or-treat -- just hours in the making -- that brought out hundreds of residents to the Woodbridge Firehouse.

The festivities started at 6 p.m. Wednesday. Volunteer firefighters provided hot food. Children and adults alike turned out in Halloween costumes to trick-or-treat from fire trucks and other vehicles.
