Woodbridge FD To Start Pumping Basements Tonight

Reservations are available through the FD

One of the biggest fears about losing power during Hurricane Irene has become a reality for hundreds of Woodbridge families. With no electricity to power sump pumps, basements are filling with water.

Fire Chief Sean Rowland has announced that starting this evening (August 31, 2011) Woodbridge firemen will be available to pump out wet basements. Residents should call the fire department at 203-389-3441 to have their name put on the list. The work will be done on a first come first served basis.
