Woodbridge Rotary Honors Student of the Month
Giovanni Iaboni is in the spotlight this month
The Woodbridge Rotary Club recently honored Amity High School Senior Giovanni Iaboni as the October Student of the Month.
Giovanni Iaboni was nominated by Ms. Ashley Cunningham, Guidance Counselor at Amity High School. Mr. Iaboni received this honor both for his academic achievements and extra-curricular activities.
His school activities include being a member of Link Crew, serving as editor of the Trident school newspaper, and Treasurer of the National Honor Society.

Guidance Counselor, Ms. Cunningham shared two stories that demonstrated his strength of character. Giovanni tutored a special needs student and took the role of a teacher helping the other student complete two full years of Spanish in a year by individually instructing him. Also, over the summer, Giovanni volunteered his time to assist new students at their orientation.
