Birdie Goes Home

Today we were happy to see one of our special seniors go to her forever home. Sadly, Birdie was returned to REGAPCT when her owner passed away, but she never lost her spirit and hope for a new home. Like so many of our other greyhounds, she was spotted on our website (www.regapct.com) by a greyhound adorer who was looking for a new companion for her other senior dogs. At first uncertain if Birdie was the right companion, the adopter requested that she meet Birdie to make the final decision. When the two met, there was no question that Birdie had found her new owner. It was love at first sight! I have already received word that Birdie is excited to be in her new home and is settling in very nicely with her new human and canine companions.
