With downpours in the forecast, what was projected as a washout turned into a sunny gala event once again. PETSAFFAIR 5, REGAPCT’s annual fundraiser was held Saturday, September 29, on the grounds of the rescue organization’s founder, Eileen McCaughern, in Bethany, CT.
PETSAFFAIR has become a one of a kind event. Boasting a lavish silent auction, attendees were also able to satisfy their sweet tooth at the bake sale with items for both humans and canines. Our New Wares table provided some new riches to show off, while some old treasures were discovered at our tag sale. And not to forget what the event is all about, there were also Pet-a-Cures provided for all canines along with furminating and pet photography. It was an exciting, successful day for all.
It’s such a pleasure to see our adopted greyhounds come back for a visit, grab a cookie and enjoy some pampering, while those on the other end of their leashes share their stories. Just take a look at some of the great photos uploaded on the Bethwood Patch !

And the best part of the day was when three rescued greyhounds found their forever homes!
