Bethany Lions Club - 28th Annual Goods & Services Auction

What better time to signal the start of spring than the annual Bethany Lions Club Goods and Services Auction!  It will be held on Friday, March 14that the Bethany Town Hall.  Viewing starts at 6 pm and the auction starts at 7 pm with Bethany Lion Walter Briggs as auctioneer.

This is the Bethany Lions Club largest fund-raiser of the year.  Donations and proceeds raised are used primarily to fund a total of $10,000 in scholarships given each year to 5 graduating Amity High school students residing in Bethany.

What you might not know is that the Bethany Lions also contributes to local groups and events such as the Bethany Fire and Ambulance, Bethany Historical Society, Clark Memorial Library and coordinates the Annual Bethany Memorial Day Parade. In addition to supporting local charities, the Bethany Lions Club makes significant donations to the Connecticut Eye Seal Fund, Fidelco Guide Dog Association, the Low Vision Center, Hurricane and Disaster Relief.

If you are interested in donating a good or service, please contact George McDonnell at 203-393-3164 or Steve Ryan at203-393-7322. Your donation is tax-deductible.

It’s a fun evening!  With the help and support of the residents of Bethany and surrounding areas, the Lions Club will continue to serve our communities in countless ways.  Visit our website at:  www.bethanyctlions.com.
