¬THE 2nd Annual CHRISTMAS CADDY

A TOY DRIVE BENEFITING THE BRANFORD COUNSELING CENTER

Christmas is a time of year when you can make a difference by just donating a toy. There are children in our own town who have nothing to open on Christmas morning. Last year my cousin Chandlar Fowler started the Christmas Caddy to try and help ensure all children in Branford receive a Christmas present. My name is Christopher Pantani and I’m going to continue the effort this year. I am going to collect toys in my Pa’s 1965 Cherry Red Coupe de Ville then drive them down to the Branford Counseling Center. Our Pa was Bruce Pantani and he is the person that instilled the values of giving in us. Even when he could barely afford to give to his own family, he gave to the less fortunate, especially during Christmas. For over 40 years, my Mimi and Pa have donated toys, gifts and food through the Branford Counseling Center to help kids in our town. My Pa died of cancer in 2008, so I am doing this for him. I am going to carry on his legacy of giving because I believe everyone has the ability to make a child’s Christmas better and The Christmas Caddy is the first step!

Here’s how YOU can make a difference this Christmas:
WHERE: BRANFORD GREEN
WHEN: DECEMBER 9TH FROM 10-2

Please help the kids in our town this Christmas!
Thank you and Merry Christmas!

Just added a few photos from earlier today, around 11:30 or so, when I was able to get over to the Green. Can't say enough about how much I admire this wonderful project by Christopher (and originated by Chandler last year), and assisted by the family and friends of the late Bruce Pantani. I am sure he would be very proud.

1 Hour to go. I just stopped by there to see Chris. The Christmas Caddy looks like it is getting full. Somebody even donated some bikes. Still Time to help out the Branford Counseling Center. He will be there until 2 o'clock. Please help if you can. Thank you to everyone that already has.

Fantastic turn out. Not sure the quantity of toys but it took the Caddy a pickup and another car to get them all to the Branford Counseling Center. Great job done by Chris carrying on a great family tradition.

Thanks for the follow-up Vinne. Wow, glad to hear of what a huge success this year's Christmas Caddy event was! Great job and great Branford Spirit shown by Christopher and everyone involved! Bravo!
