Jewish Coalition for Literacy: Info. Meeting

Share the joy of literacy with New Haven elementary school children.  Learn more at the JCL information session.

The JCL recruits, trains, places and supports volunteer reading partners in local public schools to read one-to-one with children. Students benefit from the interaction with a caring adult, sharing the pleasures of reading and the enjoyment of learning.

This meeting will provide more information about the program and train new volunteers. For more information, please contact JCL Coordinator, Brenda Brenner.

Founded in 2004, the Jewish Coalition for Literacy (JCL) is an award-winning project of the Jewish Community Relations Council of the Jewish Federation of Greater New Haven, partnering with seven New Haven public schools. http://www.jewishnewhaven.org/page.aspx?id=246718
