Music At the Farm Series

Judy Handler & Mark Levesque play Brazilian, Latin, and South American Tunes This Thursday at Massaro Community Farm starting at 6pm!

We are so pleased to host this renowned duo to round out our Concert on the Farm series. Connecticut-based husband and wife duo, Handler and Levesque blend Brazilian, Latin, gypsy, jazz, classical and folk music influences to create their unique, expressive arrangements. Audiences respond with great enthusiasm to their extraordinary sound, amusing anecdotes and the joyful spirit Included on the program will be rhythmic Brazilian choros, sambas & bossa novas, exciting nouveau flamenco dances, sizzling tangos from Argentina, popular songs from Puerto Rico, valses from Venezuela & Paraguay, a beautiful Mexican song and much more!

Bring your own picnic or purchase food from the food truck. Concert begins promptly at 6pm. This is a beautiful time of year to explore the farm and enjoy the sunset. Kids can explore the Learning Garden, and maybe taste some cherry tomatoes or husk cherries. *When parking lot is full, please park across the street along Ford Street. $5/pp or $10/family.
