Locket's Meadow Halloween Restitution Party

Feel like you got cheated out of your Halloween party by that pesky nor' easter that took out our power and dumped a ton of snow on us? Yeah, we do to, so we're having a Halloween do-over party that's even bigger and better than the one we'd planned before! Kid's costume party is from 2 to 4pm, costumes encouraged, lots and lots of prizes and give-a-ways! For a $3 admission, here's what you get:

• Rides on our costumed ponies ($5, bring a camera!)
• Games, candy, prizes
• Costume judging
• Crafts and coloring
• Bake sale/cider
• Petting zoo

 Then, when the sun goes down, the good stuff starts. For a $10 admission charge, the folks at the Smoking Gun Research Agency are joining forces with us and we are having:

• Ghost hunting adventures on our haunted farm! SGRA will bring all their cool techno gadgets, just like those on TV. Learn how to use the tools of the trade and get some hands-on experience.

• Gypsy fortune tellers and a séance to speak with spirits on the farmPsychic photography (bring your digital cameras! We always catch ghosts or fairies here on Locket’s Meadow. Computers will be available for viewing.)

• Viewing of the movie Sleepy Hollow

• Bonfire – bring your favorite ghost story, true is better!
• Refreshments available for purchase.

All proceeds benefit Locket's Meadow Rescue Sanctuary and help support the programs offered, including horse rescue and rehabilitation, therapeutic riding, equine assisted therapy and rescue of many other kinds of farm animals.
