What Kind of Christmas Tree Do You Buy? [Poll]

A third of all people prefer to cut their own trees, according to national stats. Does the trend hold up locally?

The race for a Christmas tree is on, and the post-Thanksgiving rush is a busy time for vendors of all types of trees. 

According to stats compiled by the National Christmas Tree Organization, 27 million real trees and 8.2 million fake trees were sold in 2010. The number is staggering, but it’s the fewest sold since at least 2004. With the holidays upon us, we were wondering where and what kind of trees people buy – assuming they get one at all.
