The day of the big celebration is fast approaching! Our Anniversary party is September 29th and we are all very excited! One of the many events that we have planned for the day, is our silent art auction! We have received many pieces donated to the ATC by the Art Honor Society at Amity High School and from other teens in our community! We have so many talented teens right here in Amity!! The auction will begin at 2:00 pm on Saturday, Sept 29th and will end at 5:30 p.m. The Art exhibit will be on display until the end of November. A few samples of what will be exhibited are here for you to see.
Also, the ATC will be showcasing other talents that day as well. The entertainment portion of our celebration will begin at 3:30 p.m. and will be showcasing many talented local musicians. We are very excited to be opening the show with a band by the name of WRY. This band is comprised of a few members that played at the opening night of the original teen center 25 years ago. Later in the night, THE FLUFFY PUFFY UNICORN GANG will be playing a set. This is a band that played in our new and current location of the ATC on the first night that it opened as well. In addition, we will be showcasing many other local talents, such as The Foresters, Those Guys, Audrey Cambpell, Henry Sidle and many more!!!
Throughout the day, we will have a slideshow on display with pictures and memories marking the past 25 years! Come out and help us celebrate and see if there is anyone you recognize!!
