5th Annual Family Fun Day @ Massaro Community Farm!

This Saturday, October 5 from 1pm-5pm, Massaro Community Farm will celebrate its 5th Annual Family Fun Day! (Rain Date: October 6)

The day will open up with a performance by the Beecher Road School Band, to be followed throughout the day by the sounds of Chris and Abbey Keevil. A full lineup of activities and events for all ages will include a magic show, hay rides, pumpkins and face painting, scarecrow building, planting of daffodils and garlic for spring, a farm tour, a trail walk, as well as a variety of fun games and crafts.

The Woodbridge Rotary Club will also be on hand for the day collecting donations of non-perishable foods and coats. Coats collected will be distributed to local families by First Church of God. The Rotary Club also greatly appreciates donations of soups, stews, tomato sauce, vegetables, cereals and dessert mixes, which will given to Jewish Family Services - one of the farm's recipients of produce donations - for distribution to clients. Please consider bringing a non-perishable food item, or a fall or winter coat (child, teen or adult size) to donate!

We'll also be holding a Nonesuch Auction, an auction of new or gently used items. Featured items include Blue Ribbon homemade jams, Le Creuset cookware, and a vintage Old Town canoe! Sweets will be available at the Bake Sale, and we'll be holding a special bazaar where you can enter for a chance to win either a Mantis Deluxe Garden Tiller or a Fusion Juicer!

Don't miss this once-a-year event! $10/Family includes all activities. You can stop by and visit our auction or bake sale even if you're not staying for activities. Food will also be available for purchase. We are accepting items for the Nonesuch Auction and Bake Sale through the end of the day Friday. Please call Caty Poole at (215) 694-5549 to coordinate dropping off your donation.
