Obituary: Emily Anne Seaton, 45, of Bethany

Emily Anne Seaton, age 45, of Bethany, died on Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at her home.

She was born on March 19, 1968 in New Haven and was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Betsy Anne (Carlson) Seaton.

Seaton graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in English from Drew University. She worked in sales for NCG Inc. in Trumbull and formerly at Bayer in West Haven. She was an active member Christ Episcopal Church of Bethany and also enjoyed singing in the choir.

Seaton is survived by her brother, James Seaton and his wife, Dorothy of Bethany and his sister, Nancy Seaton of New York, and two nephews: Kenneth Richard Seaton and Andrew James Seaton of Bethany and cousins Barbara of Bethany, Marilyn of Cheshire, Janet of Bethany, Richard of Massachusetts and Bill of Floria, and several beloved aunts.

Memorial Service of Requiem Eucharist: 10 a.m. Friday, June 28 at the Christ Episcopal Church, 526 Amity Road, Bethany.

Interment: Following in Christ Church Cemetery, Bethany.

In lieu of flowers, the family has wished that donations be made to a local animal shelter or humane society in Seaton's memory.
