Amity High School Student Arrested After Allegedly Refusing to Leave

The 17-year-old student was told to leave the school property, according to police, but refused and instead began driving recklessly in the parking lot.

 

A 17-year-old Amity High School student was arrested recently after they allegedly refused to leave the school grounds after being told to do so, according to police.

On Dec. 5 at about 1:30 p.m. police were called to the school after the student refused to leave and began driving his car reklessly through the parking lot, according to reports.

The student, whose identity wasn't released because of his age, was charged with first-degree criminal trespass and reckless driving. He was scheduled to appear in New Haven Juvenile Court on Dec. 14.
