Another Amity Student Arrested at School

For the second time in a month, an Amity HIgh School student was arrested, this time for allegedly making inappropriate comments to a teacher.

A 14-year-old Amity HIgh School student was arrested on Dec. 21 after they allegedly "engaged in disorderly behavior and made inappropriate comments to a teacher during class," according to Woodbridge Police.

The student's name was not released because of his or her age. They were charged with disorderly conduct and referred to Juvenile Court in New Haven, where they are due to appear on Friday, according to reports.

It's the second report of an arrest of an Amity High School student. On Dec. 5, another student was arrested after he refused to leave the school grounds after being instructed to, according to police. He was charged with first-degree criminal trespass and reckless driving and had a Dec. 14 court date for Juvenile Court.
