Jan. 13 at 2:45 p.m., Woodbridge police received a call that a Land Rover had plowed into a snow bank near the Blue Check Deli and was stuck. Upon arriving, police noticed the driver, Cynthia Andrien of Amity Road, smelled of alcohol and had glassy eyes. Andrien admitted she had been drinking and ultimately failed all portions of the field sobriety test. She was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and failure to drive right. She was released on a $1,000 bond and her court date was set for Jan. 26.
