Driving Under the Influence, Speeding and Larceny, and a Long List of Driving Infractions

Nov. 5 at 4:15 a.m., Lawrence Jackson, 36, of West Main Street, Waterbury, was arrested after Woodbridge police responded to a report of an accident at the junction of Routes 67 and 63. According to police, they found a car plowed into the guardrail. The car was still running and the driver was asleep behind the wheel. Police said Jackson was allegedly struggling to walk and talk and his eyes were bloodshot. He was arrested and charged with DUI, posted a $50 cash bond and was given a court date of Nov. 18.

Nov. 4 at 6:30 p.m., Michelle McCray, 48, of Central Ave., New Haven, was stopped at Rt. 69 and Clark St. for speeding. Police ran a check on her and found she was wanted in Milford on a warrant for Larceny in the 1st.  Police served her with her ticket and held her until the Milford Police picked her up.

Nov. 5 at 9:22 a.m., Vladimir Lambert, Jr., 22, of Wilson St., Waterbury, was stopped at Rt. 69 and Clark St. He was charged with Operating an Unregistered Motor Vehicle, Improper Use of Maker Plates, Failure to Display the Proper Sticker, Driving with a Suspended Registration, and Larceny in the 6th for having stolen marker plates. He was released on a promise to appear and given a court date of Nov. 15.
