Reported Fracas Between Spouses Leads to Assault Charge

A New Haven woman was arrested April 25 after police were called to Bethmour Road for a reported disturbance between spouses.

Catherine Chapman, 45, faces charges of disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.

State Police Troop I in Bethany responded to the reported fracas.

Chapman was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond and was scheduled to appear in court April 26, police said.
