Juveniles Arrested for Stealing New Haven Car, Larceny Arrests

Jan. 17, two female juveniles from New Haven were arrested after the car one of them was driving was involved in a minor accident at Pease and Center Roads. Police said the car had been stolen from New Haven. Both girls were arrested and charged with Larceny 3rd by Possession and Interfering With Police (they would not give their correct identification.) The driver of the car was also charged with Operating Without a License. Both girls were released to their respective guardians.  

Jan. 10 Jeffrey Burkitt, 57, of Hokanum Glen Dr., Beacon Falls, turned himself in to Woodbridge Police on Jan. 10 and was arrested on a warrant in connection with an incident from Sept. 9, 2011 involving a bad check. Burkitt was charged with Larceny 1st and posted a $2,500 bond. His court date is Feb. 7.

Marvin Santiago, 32, of Hanover St., Wallingford, Woodbridge, was arrested on a warrant stemming from an incident that occurred at 40 Manila Ave., Woodbridge. Santiago was charged with Larceny 4th. He could not make his $2,500 bond and was turned over to judicial marshals.
