Man Charged with DUI on Route 69 in Bethany

Police say the New Haven man was operating under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

 

A New Haven man was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence after he allegedly failed to obey a control signal on Route 69 in Bethany.

Hayden W. Bernard, 33, of New Haven, was arrested at 2:43 a.m. on Feb. 16 by Connecticut State Police from Troop I. In addition to the DUI charge, he was given a ticket for failure to obey a control signal.

Bernard was released on a $500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in court on March 4.
