Marijuana arrest at Amity Regional High School
Feb. 8 at 2:25 p.m. police received a call from 25 Newton Road about a 16-year old male from Bethany who, according to the police report, was not behaving "in a normal fashion." He was brought to the nurse's office where he became "difficult and argumentative." The student was charged with possession of a controlled substance (less than four ounces,) possession of tobacco by a minor, and disorderly conduct. He was given a juvenile summons and a court date of Feb. 18 before being released to the custody of his parents.

Feb. 7, Christopher Montefusco of 10 Miles Road in Woodbridge turned himself in to Woodbridge police on a warrant for failing to register as a sex offender. Montefusco posted bond of $2,500, filed the appropriate paperwork, and was given a court date of Feb. 23.
