Milford Woman Facing Larceny Charges

She allegedly stole a pocketbook from a woman at a Woodbridge business, according to police.

 

A Milford woman is facing larceny charges after she allegedly stole a customer's pocketbook at the Clay Date on Litchfield Turnpike, according to Woodbridge Police.

Kimberly Frederick, 46, of 1052 Boston Post Rd. Apt. 504, Milford, was charged with fourth-degree Larceny, according to police.

On Nov. 17 at 5:38 p.m., police responded to 1666 Litchfield Turnpike on a report that a woman had entered the “Clay Date” and stole a customer’s pocketbook, according to police.

The woman then took off in a car traveling south on Route 15, police said. Several hours later the car was found in Milford and Frederick was arrested for stealing the pocketbook and its contents, police said. Police were able to recover some of the contents of the bag.

Frederick was scheduled to appear in New Haven Superior Court on Nov. 27.
