Motor Vehicle Stop Leads to Drug Charges
A New Haven resident was charged with possession of marijuana after being pulled over on Ansonia Road, according to police.

Davon Wise, 22, of Ella Grasso Boulevard, New Haven, was charged with possession of marijuana and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, according to police.

At about 7:18 p.m. on Dec. 20, police stopped a vehicle for a routine motor violation on Ansonia Road, according to reports.
While speaking with the driver, identified as Davon Wise, the officer saw marijuana inside the vehicle, according to police.

Wise was issued a summons and is was due to appear in New Haven Superior Court on Dec. 28.
